Welcome to the website for St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Humber Heights! Established in 1951, we are a multicultural church community that celebrates the diversity of cultures in Toronto, Canada. Whether you have been a lifelong churchgoer or are new to the church, all are welcome to discover the wonder of Christ's love, hope, and peace.
Our church’s vision statement: “A vital, diverse community loving God through serving and sharing” was thoughtfully created by our elders to reflect one of the greatest strengths of our church – diversity. One of the ways we can live into this vision of diversity is the way we worship on Sundays. The past few months, we have intentionally expanded our repertoire of worship music to include songs from around the globe. As we move forward, we will continue incorporating global music in line with our reformed tradition. However, we will do this without neglecting our rich inheritance of hymns from the past. Let us worship in “spirit and in truth” as we try to honour and fulfill what Christ has done for us, for the dividing wall has been broken: “there is no longer Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male and female; for all of you are one in Christ Jesus.” (Gal 3:28).
For parents with children under 4 years of age, we have a supervised nursery on the lower mezzanine down one flight of stairs. We also have a church school for children 4 years and above. Of course, children are always welcome to remain in the sanctuary during the worship service.
We invite you to browse our website to find out more about our church and its activities. We hope that you will have the opportunity to join us in person for worship and fellowship!
Worship begins at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays.
